If it is any consolation, I use a TC1000 and have not seen the problem you
describe. But, I only run Office 2003 on that machine. One thing to check:
Have you installed the latest video drivers HP has available?

Another thought: If you attach an external monitor and move the PPT window
to that monitor, does the problem still happen?
