sending Word to PPT

I'm trying to send a 35+ page word document into PPT. I have saved it as
..rtf, .pdf, .ppt, .exe...but it does not get sent over properly. Portions of
pages will import with over-sized font. When I tried to cut/paste each page
(the long way) the text, images and page layout gets distorted and are quite
oversized.

Thanks in advance for any help you could offer! :o)
