Going nuts...anyone help???

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I've created a PowerPoint presentation that also has some embedded flash
from a neat little program called Swiff n' Slide. I've created an autorun CD
for distribution to a wide audience of people.

First problem I hit was that before the PowerPoint will play, a warning
comes up about 'This application is about to initialize ActiveX controls
that might be unsafe...' etc. etc. So, in the CD inlay instructions I've put
together, it just says to just hit the 'Yes' button. Annoying to have to
explain this, but at least it works and plays the PowerPoint with its
embedded flash and sound, etc, perfectly okay.

But then, on other PCs, a different warning message comes up. It simply
says, 'Some controls on this presentation can't be activated. They might not
be registered on this computer.' Hitting the 'OK' key will start the
presentation, but of course it stops the minute it arrives at a slide where
the flash is embedded.

What the hell do I do now? I know MS have gone overboard in attempting to
protect, secure, etc. But I've got a thousand of these things to distribute
and don't know what to do. Some techies have said that it can't be overcome
because each individual's computer security settings might be different. If
that's the case, how on earth can you ever create an autorun PowerPoint
presentation? The only thing I can think of is to convert it all to flash
and play in a web browser, but all the transitions, etc, will have to be
done all over again and I'm already out of time. We're a small charity and
can't afford to have this done professionally in Director or whatever.

Can any of you experts out there advise on what to do, or a work-around?

Thanks in advance for your help.
