Thank you for the reply. I guess I knew that sending the MP3 file as well as the show would work but I'm wondering how, when people send me a show, there is no extra mp3 file sent along with it. Just click on the *.pps link in the email message and away it goes... music and all. And the file size isn't large at all either. That's what I'd really like to be able to do. I keep thinking there's something I'm missing here...probably some simple step I'm not getting... at least that's what I was hoping. It's a puzzle. Everything I've read seems to suggest that what I've done should work but no such luck.
Thanks again for your reply... I may have to do it the way you recommend. But perhaps someone else has another idea... ???

If you can't get all what you have tried to work and it don't. You can put the mp3 file into the same folder as your presentation. Then, insert it into your presentation and save it as a .pps file then send it and the mp3 file to your friends. when they open your email and save the files it should play as you expected on their systems as long as they have the PowerPoint viewer of full version of PowerPoint installed on their system.
