How big is your wav file? The largest file size that can be embedded is 50000kb
this is set under Tools, Options, General. Like you said the conversion may have
mucked up. How did you do the conversion?

Michael, thank you so much for taking the time to answer. yes, I did embed
the wav file, because I knew that only wav's can be embedded and that's
exactly want I want, just a single file that plays with sound and all. All I
can think of is that either I am doing something wrong (inadvertently) or the
fact that this file was mp3 and then converted to wav does have a bearing in
the final result.
