You could manage the folder links with a VBA solution. Or wait for
Steve Rindsberg who is the author of Fixlinks, and addin that adresses
linking problems. Not sure if it does it with hyperlinks though.
Me, I'd just use VBA.
You, you might also try file naming conventions to cluster like files
when sorted by name and keep them all in one folder like Sonia and
Echo advise.
