font degradation when saving as htm

When saving a ppt presentation as html, the appearance of some of the text
is changed: outlines are coarse, slightly lager, and darker. This appears to
happen only with text in the body of slides, not in the heading. Sometimes,
the text following one bullet, but not others, is changed. If I re-design
the slide from scratch, the error disappears.
Any idea what causes this behavior, and how to fix it?
Thank you,
Clem.
