How do you control the timing of jpgs in the slide show to appear.

My boss is having me create a powerpoint presentation that includes one slide
with a cluster of jpgs.

I have tried everything in the help files and am unable to get the images
(as a group or individually) in any of the animation areas so I can control
when and how those jpgs appear.

My boss has seen images carefully controlled and wants that. Right now the
images are appearing before any text--completely the reverse of what he
wants. He wants the first two bulleted items to appear, then the jpgs, and
finally the last bulleted item.

I am using PowerPoint 2003.

Can anyone please help me with this?
