The files were copied to the Windows 2000 system. I was able to play the
music files on the 2000 system through a media player, not through using them
in the PowerPoint presentation. I cannot answer your specific mplay32.exe
question until later in the week as I am not with the 2000 machine for a few
days.
Please note: if I take the presentation which is working fine on my XP
machine and "pack" it, then "Unpack" it on my XP machine and run the
presentation, the same problem occirs--the first and third music files will
not play, but the pther 7 will.
Hope this information helps you determine the problem.
Thanks so much.
