Have a look at Audacity anyhow, if you haven't already.
Pretty neat app. I haven't a clue what I'm doing in an audio editor but I managed to
make a couple quickie multitrack recordings w/in a few minutes of installing it.
You have to appreciate the depth of my ignorance to fully understand what an
accomplishment that is.<g>
