Rich,
Try this: Right click the animation. Select Effect Options. On the Effect
tab, which settings are selected? I am guessing that the Stop Playing option
is set to "On next mouse click". try changing it to "After__ Slides". Be
sure to set the number of slides to something other than one.
Does that make a difference?

However, they still show the playing time as 00:00, and I can only play the music when I RT click on icon and hit PLAY. Do you know how I can get it to play in the presentation? > > > -- > > > Rich > > > > > > > > > "Echo S" wrote: > > > > > > > Change the amount in the "link sounds with file size greater than" to 50000. That will embed any sound file up to 50MB. (I really wish that thing were labeled differently -- "embed WAVs smaller than XXX kb" would certainly make more sense.) > > > > > > > > Also, know that only WAV sounds can be embedded, regardless of size. > > > > > > > > Also know that you have to change your linked/embedded sound size setting and then reinsert the sounds. > > > > > > > > -- > > > > Echo [MS PPT MVP] > > > > http://www.echosvoice.com > > > > presenter, PPT Live '04 > > > > Oct 10-13, San Diego http://www.powerpointlive.com > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > "Rich" wrote: > > > > > > > > > Hi! I have inserted music files in several places throughout my presentation. THe smaller files embedded into the presentation, the larger ones did not. Those larger files are the problem... they only play when I right click on their icon and hit PLAY, they won't play in the presentation. I noticed that when I right click on the sound object icon and go to EDIT SOUND OBJECT, it states in the information section that the total playing time is 00:00. Can anybody tell me how to 1) make it play in the presentation and 2) how to get the objects to embed into the presentation? I have it set to LINK SOUNDS WITH FILE SIZE GREATER THAN 100K. It used to be 24K. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! > > > > > -- > > > > > Rich
