Rich,
Try this: Right click the animation. Select Effect Options. On the Effect
tab, which settings are selected? I am guessing that the Stop Playing option
is set to "On next mouse click". try changing it to "After__ Slides". Be
sure to set the number of slides to something other than one.

Does that make a difference?

songs, some are clips, which are found throughout the presentation and used
for background music while slides are changing.

they still show the playing time as 00:00, and I can only play the music
when I RT click on icon and hit PLAY. Do you know how I can get it to play
in the presentation?

thing were labeled differently -- "embed WAVs smaller than XXX kb" would
certainly make more sense.)

ones did not. Those larger files are the problem... they only play when I
right click on their icon and hit PLAY, they won't play in the presentation.
I noticed that when I right click on the sound object icon and go to EDIT
SOUND OBJECT, it states in the information section that the total playing
time is 00:00. Can anybody tell me how to 1) make it play in the
presentation and 2) how to get the objects to embed into the presentation? I
have it set to LINK SOUNDS WITH FILE SIZE GREATER THAN 100K. It used to be
24K. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
