I thought I replied to these messages but I don't see my post here so here
goes again.

thanks to the three of you for the replies. You all have the same solution
but it doesn't fit. The pane with the outline does not have tabs at the top
to switch to thumbnails. No matter what I do - scrolling, maximizing - there
are no tabs. Does that feature exist in this version; Office 2000 on an Xp
machine.
