Re: Update from 2000 Pro to 2003 Pro
Uninstaling the trial seems to be the best way to avoid any conflicts and it hurts nothing, especially if you never activated the trial edition.

After furious head scratching, BigBen35 asked:
| I recently bought a new HP laptop that came with a pre loaded trial
| version of Microsoft Office 2003.
|
| I have not activated the trail version. I did install Microsoft Office
| Professional 2000 that I had been using on my 9-year-old laptop.
|
| I bought Microsoft Office Professional 2003 upgrade and plan to
| install that on my new laptop.
|
| Do I need to uninstall the pre loaded trial version of Microsoft
| Office 2003 before attempting to install the upgrade Microsoft Office
| Professional 2003?
