Manually would be an option from what you describe.

Hi folks,.
Looking for some assistance updating Office 2003 clients from an
administrative installation point.
Using AD Software Deployment to deploy Office 2003 (with MST's) to our
organisation. After updating the administrative install point, I now need to
force clients to reinstall the SP2 version..
But - our software landscape is not all 2003 ! we are part way through a
reimaging project which means about 2/3rds of our machines are 2003 (via AD)
with the rest on Office 2000 (installed as part of an image, or user directed)
So, I need to find a way for just the 2003 version to reinstall with the
updated SP2 files - also without touching the 2000 stations, and without
loosing any of the users own customisations and settings (outlook exchange
settings for example)
any help much appreciated.
