Most likely your Powerbook came with an /EVALUATION/ Edition of Office 2004,
and if you look at the CDs closely, they'll probably say "Evaluation
Edition" on them.
To 'fix' your issue you'll need to purchase a full copy of Office 2004 and
install it.

Hello,
I have recently bought a new powernook G4 laptop and I had already bought
Office 2004 for my old laptop.
For some reason when putting it on my ne computer I still always get the
message "your trial period has ended either visit our wensite for more or
press remind me later" and then it won't open the doc. I am able to open
a
doc on word by dragging the word doc I want to open directly to the word
icon
on the dock menu
and that item will open and I don't get this message. It is a pain though
and since I paid for it I want to be able to use it right....I am thinking
I
might have to uninstall it and re-install from the discs and then register
it
again? Any ideas? I am a disabled wheelchair user and they want 35$ to
answer
this simple question...I depend on my computer for everything.
