Perhaps.... Milly... it would be useful if /you/ would cite the portion of
the EULA that you believe prohibits a private individual from downloading a
service pack and burning it to removable media for the convenience of
another private individual. Since you seem to be the only person who's
standing on your side of the fence, as you note actual practice, /perhaps/
your interpretation of the EULA you're citing is flawed???
Furthermore, it might also be interesting to explain how a private
individual is expected to read and comply with such an EULA until /AFTER/
they have downloaded and executed the installer package for that service
pack.
The snide comment about comparing service pack downloading convenience
versus /licensing/ for virtual machines on VPC is totally uncalled for. Your
professionalism is severely lacking in this thread.
