There are plenty of alternatives to Office you just have to look around most
offer programs that are compatible with MS Office.
It's easy to upset with MS but have you tried getting help with the problem
you are having with updating? Have you consider maybe that it might be your
internet connection, internet traffic or maybe you might need to do some
clean up on your computer as junk will accumulate over time and cause
problems with programs and your computer?
