I am using Windows XP Pro SP1 with Office 2000 and IE6.0.
Yesterday I went to office.microsoft.com to see if I
needed any critical update. There are 8 listed. I can
only download one at a time. I downloaded Office SR1a
first. The next 7 are listed below and I need to know if
I actually need them and if so is there anything I need
to do before install of each item? I have SP1 and some of
the updates are for SP3. If I update to SP3, won't this
interfere with the SP1 that I now have?
Updates needed for my computer are:
1. Office SP3 English version
2. Office Security Patch KB822035
3. Office Security Patch KB830347
4. Excel Security Patch KB830349
5. Outlook 2000 Update of 12/8/02
6. Office 2000 Wordperfect 5.x converter security patch
(I don't even use Wordperfect and am not even sure it is
on my computer)
7. Access 2000 Snapshot viewer security patch KB826292
I have read many posts and people seem to be having
problems since installing SP3. Any help is welcome.
