yes. in fact i have 2 CD drives and i had both 97 & XP in
each, then swapped them when the error sayying could not
find f:/office1.cab. i have searched hard discs, cd's and
cannot find that cab. the error num is 1311. worse - the
installation corrupted my office installation out and
rendered excel inoperative. worse still reinstalling did
not fix. the only way i couldd get excel back was to
reimage the PC!
