RE: Forcing of Absolute Hyperlinks

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Dear Andy,

Thank you for posting in our Partner Online Technical Community.

We may create scripts to deploy those settings. I would like to explain
that the service you selected now is to provide assistance for break/fix
issues and prescriptive "how to" questions of Office. However, the script
inquiries are out of our support scope.

For further assistance with the customization/development issue, the
following resources will be more appropriate to provide efficient
assistance:

1. MSDN newsgroups:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/

2. MSDN Forums:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-us/categories/

3. ISV community:
http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/partnerdevvs/threads

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

Steven Du

| Subject: Forcing of Absolute Hyperlinks

|
| Hello,
|
| I am using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903163, KB 903163 to fix my
| issue of documents having relative hyper links.
| This caused a huge problem with our latest data migration.
|
| My question is, is there a way to deploy the following, either via
| script, login script, group policy, reg key, etc?
| I need this done across thousands of copies of Microsoft office so
| obviously any automated solution would be better.
| I have not been able to find a group policy setting for this.
|
