Uninstall 2007 trial version-good luck

Have to agree with you...the entire 07 Trial Version is a mess

I had Office XP installed.

Via Control Panel Add/ Remove, I uninstalled the trial version. After
re-boot, I attempted to open Word...no dice, asking for the Office XP CD to
be inserted, cannot find file path.

Basically the moral of the story...either make sure you have the old CD or
do not uninstall the trial version as your older version of Word-Excel-etc
will NOT work after uninstall.

Seems to me that this is a huge hole in the Installation Wizard that MSoft
should be able to deal with on the fly as it installs the Full Version.
