RE: Office Security Settings in the OCT

Anyone?

I am deploying Office 2007 using the OCT and SMS 2003. I have a few
questions with regard to specifying ‘Additional Network Resources’ and the
‘Office Security Settings.’

1. We will use SMS to cache the whole office 07 client in the SMS cache
folder locally. We also have the same files on a software share on our
network (but the server name may change one day). In case office 2007 files
on the local client become damaged I was thinking I could add the path to the
server share into 'Addditional Network Sources' in the OCT . Will this work?

2. If I do the above, do I need to also set each application option for
‘Allow Trusted Locations not on this computer?’ I already did.

3. In the OCT, under Office Security Settings, do I need to add the shared
folder path under ‘Add the following paths to the Trusted Location list:?

4. On the Office Security Settings page, under ‘Default security settings’
do I also need to modify each application to ‘Allow Trusted locations NOT on
this computer?’ I already did this for each individual application.
