System File checker - see Vista help
PS If this is your fathers Laptop, do you not think you should ask him,
before the whole system falls over

Yes, not functioning at all... no matter how I click on it.

The total size is 68.5GB and free space is 25.8GB.

Free
Space is shown for your C drive?

No you dont create any files or paths.
Try running disk cleanup to clear out all temp files & other
junk
Reboot and try the reinstall again.

Hi ..

I am encountering a major problem....

Restarted my laptop and my office application can't work..
decided
to
delete
it and reinstalling from the CD but I get this problem..

'Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 encountered an error
during
setup.
Error 1317. Setup cannot create the folder C:\Program
Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller.
Verify
that
the
path exists in your system and that you have sufficient
permissions
to
update
it. Error 2330. Setup cannot create the folder C:\Program
Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup
Controller\Office.en-us.
Verify
that the path exists in your system and that you have
sufficient
permissions
to update it."

Can someone confirm that I have to create the folders in that
path
before
I
can install?

Any advises are much appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
