I'm sorry you took my response in a negative fashion. It was not meant to be
so. Upgrading to a version that has been upgrading doesn't really make sense
financially (assuming you can still find it). Plus you will be hurting
yourself down the road by not learning how to use the ribbon now. Unless you
plan on retiring in the next two years or so, it could be a skill that pays
off when the next version is realeased.

Hi Joann
Why bother to reply to my email, asking for help if you have nothing
constructive to say?? You didn't answer one point.
Can anyone else help me please.
Regards

Since the next version will almost definitely have the ribbon (I'm not a
MS
employee so I can't be 100% certain), why delay the inevitable?

Hi
A little while ago, I posted a question on here but nobody replied to
it.
I
can't beleive there is nobody out there amongs you knowledgeable lot
that
doesn't know the answer so here goes again.
I am currently using office 2002 pro and are just about to upgrade to
2003
pro (I don't like 2007, can't get on with it so will wait for next
version
to
come out)
My questions are:
1) Do I have to uninstall 2002 before installing 2003 or will it
install
over the top?
2) I don't want to loose my tool bar settings etc so how do I go about
saving them and will they be comatable with 2003?
3) I also don't want to loose all the setting I have in OUTLOOK ( ie
my
calender dates entries etc) so how do I go about this?
4) Likewise, the emails that I have still got on the system in the
OUTLOOK
"deleted file", how do I transfer them over to 2003
Lastly, I installed a trial copy of 2007 to try. What is the best and
safest way of getting rid of this without damaging the 2002 pro that I
have
on my computer and will all the .xls files that I have created in 2007
be
compatable with 2003
I do hope someone can answer all the above and look forward to your
help.
Many thanks
Regards
.
