Uninstall the trial version, delete temp files, reboot, insert 2007 cd and
follow instructions to repair/reinstall
How much free space & memory is on your PC?
Do you have an anti virus application that has intergrated itself with
Office?

trial
version and never activated. Please help. I can't even use 2007

I have XP with SP3, just installed Office Home and Student 2007 from
CD,
retail version. When I try to open WORD , the window pops open that
says
office 2007, then it sits there for 4 to 5 minutes before opening.
Why is

taking forever to open? The other programs in the suite open right
away.
