Re: Trying to create a One Click Autorun DVD for Office 2007

That could be true, I just copied everything from the Office 2007 CD onto
this DVD, so the folders on the root are as follows:

Access.en-us
Admin
Catalog
Enterprise.WW
Excel.en-us
Groove.en-us
InfoPath.en-us
Office64.en-us
Office.en-us
OneNote.en-us
OneNote.WW
Outlook.en-us
PowerPoint.en-us
PrjPro.WW
Project.en-us
Proofing.en-us
ProPlus.WW
Publisher.en-us
Rosebud.en-us
Updates
VisPro.WW
Word.en-us
autorun.inf
gt.ico
setup.exe
MGT4dvd.msp

I just assumed, I needed all of those folders b/c they were on the Office
2007 Enterprise CD that we ordered. I tried changing the msp file to
suppress all dialog box, but now that just leaves the first box displayed
about choosing which product and seemingly continues on with the install once
you pick Enterprise and Continue

Hi Booker,

From your description presumably you have multiple products copied from the Office Network Installation point to the DVD. (A single
Office installation point for 2007 can hold multiple products) although I'm not clear on what 'all of the files' would be that are
in the root folder.

An .MSP file created with the OCT pertains to only one product and you would likely have seen the same question on creating the
..MSP.

You may want to look at the section on chained [product] installations in the Office 2007 Resource Kit.

I have all of the files with the associated MSP file in the root of the CD
and the autorun.inf file setup as follows:

[Autorun]
open=setup.exe /adminfile mgt4dvd.msp
icon=gt.ico

However, when I insert the CD, it starts with a screen asking which product
I want to install:
..Enterprise Office
....OneNote
....Project
...etc

Once I click Enterprise and hti continue, it is automatic from that point
on, in terms of the MSP file changes. Why does that first screen pop up?

I just want the install to run with no interaction.>>
