I have the same problem. If anyone has a solution to the OEM issue I would
greatly appreciate it.

When I try to download the update, I get a message asking me to insert my CD.
But, since my Works 9 is OEM, I don't have a CD. Anyone know what I should
do? Thanks!

Hi Pravda,

There's a bug in doing that upgrade that can be resolved with the information here:

I just purchased the Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Upgrade to install
on my new HP PC withVista Home Premium. On the spine of the Office Pro 2007
Upgrade packaging, it clearly states that "Microsoft Works 6.0-10" is one of
the Microsoft products which makes you eligible for the Upgrade version. I
was also assured of this by the salesperson where I purchased the software.
Microsoft Works 9.0 came pre-installed on my new PC, yet when I try to
install the Office Pro 2007 Upgrade, it states that it "Cannot find a
previous eligible version of Office". When I click the browse button to
point it to the Works 9.0 folder, it does not accept it and the installation
won't continue.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is here? It seems pretty clear to me
that I have an Upgrade eligible Microsoft application on my PC that it is
not accepting for some reason. Thanks in advance for your help. <<
