Thanks DL for the reply. The trial version is in the same Start Folder as
Office 2007 but it has never been used or activated. When I first
re-installed Office 2007 AFTER re-formatting, I had no problems. That was
only 2 days ago. Today, I can't access any Office program.
I appreciate your suggestion and will do. Thanks again.

Hello, Have searched for any and all solutions to this Problem so as not
to
waste anyone's time or help. Have a 1 Year Old Sony Computer with XP Pro
Media Center Edition installed. Due to Viruses, had to Reformat my hard
drive (backed up everything first) Reinstalled all Sony Pre-Loaded
software,
which did NOT include any Prior version of MS Office. (Other than a Trial
Version of Office 2003 which I never used or installed. It's still in my
computer) Have no idea what version it is if that's of any importance.
Simply doesn't say because it's never been installed.
Somehow, I managed to install MS Office Professional 2007 and it's worked
for 2 days without a hitch. Today, I get the error message when I try to
use
Outlook "Cannot start MS Office Outlook. Cannot initialize MS Office
Shared
Utilities. Restart your computer Or reinstall MS Office Outlook." No
Luck!!
Also, when I try to start up MS Word, the message says "Not enought memory
to load Word." (I have 2 Gig of Ram and a 320 Gig hard Drive???)
When I insert the Office Pro 2007 disk to Reinstall, the message is: "The
path you have chosen does not point at a qualifying upgradable product.
Click Try again or Cancel to quit setup."
For the record, I am an American living in Cali, Columbia. It's over
$4.00
a minute to call anywhere in the US for help. (If you can dial out which
is
intermittent at best)
I also don't have ANY previous versions of any Office Suite program to
use,
if indeed that's an option. I had Office 2003 Pro installed but that was
deleted when I purchased Office 2007 Pro. I do have the disks for Office
2007 Pro.
I would sincerely appreciate any help or suggestions that anyone can
provide. In the course of asking around down here for help, I was offered
a
copy of Office 2003 to install on my machine so Office 2007 would find a
previous version of something, but I have no idea if that would work???
If I've not provided enough information, please be patient and let me
know.
This is only my second time using a forum.
I did take the time to read and save the info below in one of JoAnn's

If anyone is wondering how I would get a reply, I have a Gmail account set
up since clearly I can't use Outlook to receive any replies.
