I want to install, using a CD, the Office 2007 standard edition on my laptop,
a recently purchased Lenovo T61 running Windows XP, and with the office 2007
trial edition on it. Having read that I should uninstall the trial I went to
add/remove programs and removed the “Microsoft 2007 Office System”. That
still leaves the following programs in the laptop: “Activation Assistant for
the 2007 Microsoft Office suites” the “Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components”
“Microsoft Office 2007 Primary Interop Assemblies” and the “Microsoft Office
Small Business Connectivity Components”. Should any of these programs also be
removed before installing the Microsoft Office 2007 Standard CD?
Thanks in advance for your help on this matter
