Re: Deleting Trail version of office

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

The link posted in response to your origonal post
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/en-us
provides full details, if neccessary print it out, create a restore point
prior to commencing removal.

The above is your only option other than
1) Restoring your PC to factory condition, then trying to uninstall the
trial - may or may not work
2) Paying some one more knowledgable to remove it

not really because i have tried every other possible way to remove this
program, i was just told by the maufacture of my computer to go into safe
mode, to do it, and that didnt help either, I tried to remove it the manul
way, but when i got to the part to change the registry keys, there are
about
11 to change, but then there are aleast 5 or so files under each of the
keys
that are there, do those get changed as well?

If you bothered to read the instructions for the Windows Installer
Cleanup Utility at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=290301 , you would
see that the instructions say, "The Windows Installer Clean Up Utility
should not be used to remove the 2007 Microsoft Office System
installation information." When you ignored these instructions, you
most likely screwed up any chance you had of removing the Office 2007
trial software normally. That leaves the manual removal method.

get this
program erased from my computer? i already searched on here and did
some of
the things that others had suggested, but nothing is working. i did
the
windows intaller thing and erased the registery for the office 2007 but
the
program is still there, the other was a manual remove, but it was way
to
compicated to do, it was ok until u got to the part about removing the
reigstry keys. any suggestions of an easier way to get this horrible
