Re: Product Key doesn't working

The Medialess Licence Kit is an OEM Licence designed for system builders
supplying a new PC.
I'm unsure whether this requires a 'special' type/version of the Office
installation, in order to use the Licence.
Dabs support will tell you, if nobody else chimes in.

Hi,

The vendor is a massive online store, dabs.com. I don't quite understand
how this is improper, what have they done wrong? I've downloaded a trial
from MS for Office 2007 Pro and bought a medialess version of Office 2007
Pro. Isn't that what you are supposed to do if you installed the
software?

I've ordered a "backup" CD from MS for just over £10, perhaps this will
solve the problem?

Where did you purchase the product key from? If it wasn't a purchase
directly from Microsoft to validate the Trial version, the product key
will not work. Many times this type of key is purchased by some vendor
as part of a package from Microsoft and then broken up and resold
individually by the vendor. If this is what happened (purchased from
other than Microsoft) it is now time to contact MS to report the vendor
for improperly selling the license.

Hello,

I installed Windows Office 2007 Professional a while a go from a
download
from MS web site. I've since bought a medialess Office 2007 Pro
license
(an empty CD case) as my trial was coming to and end. I've tried
putting
in the product key several times when the Office application asks for
it
upon start-up but it keeps telling me it's invalid. What can the
problem
be?

Kol
