That's the first step? Do as much as you can of the first step and then move on. That you can't do all those files or find them is to be expected. If the first step were a total success, then setup would have been able to do it by itself in the first place and you wouldn't have to use the manual steps.
The registry keys and files outlined in the next steps to delete will get rid of Office 2007 completely in any case.

Hi Patrick, I followed you suggestions last week. Unfortunately the manual
steps do not work in this case because the program cannot find the installer
files. I have spent days with downloading installer files for Microsoft to
no avail. Seems it will not unistall and will not find or replace the
installer files necessary for removal.
