Re: Moving the MS Office Installation

You are going to have to reinstall. Since you're looking at a reformat
anyway, what's a few more minutes for the Office reinstall?

Thanks, JoAnn, but this has already been done. Most of the user accounts'
My
Documents are already on another partition. What's left is trivial in
terms
of space. All music and pictures are stored separately or offline for
ease
of backups.

I'm actually preparing for a reformat of the C drive. Due to a geometry
error on the first drive, I can't resize with Partition Magic. To fix
the
error, I'm planning on minimizing the consumed space (removing or moving
programs), imaging the two partitions, reformating, and then reinstalling
the
partitions. This would be easy except for the fact that the first
partition
is the C drive.

I would suggest you move your data files, music, photos, and other
non-essentials instead. Believe me, it's much, much easier!

I'm running short of space on the C: drive where the S&T version of MS
Office
2003 was installed. I want to move it to another drive. Is there any
other
way than removing then re-installing?
