Re: Office 2003 Upgrade error 1406

Hello again ... I am still having the same problem with the registry
errors as mentioned above and yesterday I purchased Registry Mechanic
(RM) which found over 400 errors and was able to initially correct
them, or so I thought. After rebooting the WinXP (home) Sp2
single-user machine, I reran RM and it found the same 32 registry
errors so I am concerned that even though Office03 seems to be working
ok, this will lead to future problems.

I also did a search on this board for error 1406 and found "Lynn"'s
note with some links to MS articles on this error, but the closest one
was only applicable to WinXP Prossional. Any and all thoughts or ideas
will be appreciated .... TerryG
