After the starting of Word2003
The message in the window is:
Select the encoding, withch your document make readable
i can decide between 3 encodings
- Windows
- MsDos
- Other

but the Result is the same, Word opens a new document, and Powerpoint opens
a new Presentation from the template.

I've tested also as Admin

I haven't tested with a manually Installation

For the test's i've used drive letters & UNC path's

Yes it is Office2003 with W2k & XP SP1&2 clients.
The language of the Poerpoint installation and the template is the same.
