I recently updated Windows XP Pro with the Service Pack and subsequently
have tried to update my Office 2003 installation. Everything is fine up to
the point of searching for updates. As soon as it does searching the window
closes and no updates take place. Since it worked before, if memory serves
me it is closing the windows at the point where you would normally select
the updates you want to install. I have tried booting in Safe Mode as well
but get the same reaction. I have also tried to repair the Office 2003
installation and have reinstalled it. Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas how I can update this application?
