It appears we are now running into a learning curve thing with some folks.

Those I help love OO for it's simplicity and of course the price. I have
never used it nor had it loaded on a machine.

Our corporate interaction has us pretty well locked in on using MS products
because they are the same for all practical purposes in the countries that
can legally import and use them.

We do use Corel WordPerfect for the more intricate interoffice word
processing tasks and especially in instances where special formatting is
imperative and/or professional printing will be used.

So far the folks I point toward OO that can read and write and are somewhat
computer literate have no problems and are grateful.

Come on and put your heart into it. I just know you can do it with some
effort and determination.

Thank you

Patriot

Apparently someone from Microsoft if forcing you to use
their Office products. They don't force us to. We tried
OO and Star Office for our small business and home use
and found them very lacking to say the least. OO and Star
Office are marketed against Office as an alternative, and
the average daily user power or not would have to totally
re-train themselves in usage. Cost ratio vs Office,
granted, it is more but, the range of products aptly
applied to each user more than makes up the difference.
I would use my old (oem)copy of Lotus Smart Suite 97
again before either OO or Star Office....
