Yep. The SBE is OEM only and is forever tied to the *FIRST* system it's
installed on - and cannot be installed on any other - whether it's removed
from the first or not. Once it's installed - and activated - that's it. If
the computer then explodes the next day, it cannot be reused, you would have
to purchase another copy.
Just to clarify - all other Office flavours can be installed on two
computers providing they are different types - i.e. one desktop and one
laptop - and aren't in simultaneous use. If you wish to install on two
desktops or two laptops you are required to purchase a second licence.
