I had a qualifiying product and it was installed on my computer. The the whole system crashed. I had to reformat the hard drive(s), at the same time I upgraded from 98 to XP. I am having major regrets. I wonder if it's reasonable to expect people to keep outdated software after we buy an upgrade? Isn't there some record when I registered the product? If not, why did I go through that process? >-----Original Message----- >Without a qualifying product, which I might add is part of the licence, you >cannot. >You will need to buy? a qualifying product - and keep it!! > >"cindy" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message >news:1879b01c41b46$5aee64d0$a501280a@phx.gbl... >> I bought a new computer and no longer have the original >> software that qualified me for the upgrade version of >> Office XP Professional.
