Re: Office 2003 starts OK and then slows right down

The first place I'd look is at your RAM, Virtual memory and temp folder(s) to see if you need to change any settings there.

Do you meet the system requirements for RAM and disk space?
Did this just start happening?
Is it possible that you have a fixed virtual memory setting that is topping out?
Is your temp file overloaded with files?

Office pro 2003 is fast enough for around 20 minutes after start-up and then
slows right down for opening files, using drop downs in e.g. Word / Excel,
saving files etc.
When I re-start, all goes faster for a while and then again slows down.
Any suggestions?
