The problem is that you are using an OLD version of Adobe Acrobat that is not compatible with Office 2007. You will need to UPGRADE to at least Version 8, or Use the Microsoft PDF addin.

Thanks for the info. I do have that option in 2007 and that is what I have been doing to convert the forms. Problem with that is that I have to open each of them up then convert them. The way I was doing it when I get the error message is just to right click on the file and convert it to PDF. I am doing alot of them so it would be easier not opening each doc to convert it. I just can't seem to find the option in 2007 that acrobat says to look for in 2003 to fix the problem.
Thanks

If it's .pdf files you need to make why not install the save as .pdf-xps option in office. If you look under the big Office button you'll find the option save as. There you'll find the option .pdf. If not installed yet you see the option to download it from the microsoft site (it's an add in). If you install it in Word you'll get it for alle the other office apps. as well.

Okay, I'm feeling really blond right now so I hope someone can help me. I am curring running vista with office 2007. I have been in the process of converting some word and excel documents to PDF and started getting an error "missing PDFmaker files" Adobe help says this is because the file I'm trying to convert is an office 2003 or earlier version. Adobe provides specific instructions on how to fix this problem in office 2003 or older by clicking on the Help button at the top of the screen selecting about microsoft word (or other) then selecting disabled items and enabling the pdfmaker. See website info ( http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=329044 )
So here is the problem. Im not running 2003 I'm running 2007 and there is NO help button at the top of the screen. When I go through the microsoft button>about microsoft, there is no disabled items list.
Does anyone know how to enable the disabled items in 2007?? Or another way to correct this problem when running a new version than the document was created in.
Thank in advance for your assistance
