In addition to Joseph's suggestion, you may be able to recover a previously
saved version depending on which version of Vista you are using. Try
right-clicking the file (you said you had saved it a few times, right?) ->
restore previous versions. I think you may only get this with Vista Ultimate
but can't quite remember.

I was just finishing a very long report and my nail hit the "n" and I guess
at the same time I hit Ctrl, thus leaving the page I was proofreading and
it
went to a blank page. Now, usually when this happens, on the bottom of
the
page will be listed the report title that I'm working on and then I just
click that and I get back the page I was working on.
I was working on my new Vista laptop, but still with Word 2003, and there
was nothing at the bottom to get me back to my report. I can't find it
anywhere. The REcycle Bin is empty. Where did it go? I don't know what
to
do and it's due first thing tomorrow. It's not even in the file that I
saved
it in, just the blank page with the N on it. I saved this report at least
a
million times while typing it because it's so urgent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
