Re: converter failed to save the file

Just, a thought but have you tried cleaning out the Temporary Internet Files? (Control Panel, Internet Options, General, Delete files)

I'm trying to use the 2007 file converter for 2003, and I keep getting "converter failed to save the file" error everytime I try to open a 2007 file - prior to this it tells me that it cannot find the file, then trys to convert it ("File conversion in progress"), then gives me "converter failed to save the file"... All the updates are installed - what's going wrong...!

Microsoft gives no clues on this...
