Yes, a retail copy of MS Office Small Business 2007 edition be installed on one desktop and one laptop(portable) computer.
My guess as to some confusion is regarding the '3 computers of one family' license for MS Home and Student retail 2007 edition vs
the other retail product editions of the MS Office 2007 suites.

says a copy can be installed on one device and one portable device. So....
I'm confused. Doesn't that mean I could buy the upgrade and install it on my
