Thank you for the link. I downloaded the version for Small Business, and it
says a copy can be installed on one device and one portable device. So....
I'm confused. Doesn't that mean I could buy the upgrade and install it on my
desktop and on my laptop?
I don't mean to argue with you - just trying to understand.

Wow. So I couldn't use the same disks to install on my desktop _and_ on my
laptop?

The only edition that allows you three installations is the
non-commercial
Home and Student edition. If these systems are being used to do work,
even
volunteer work, you cannot use that edition.

hmmm. nobody answered... Did I offend anybody by using the word
'legally,'
I
wonder?
well, I found where I can use one licensed copy on up to three
computers,
so
that answers my first question.
Now I just need to figure out if I can use MS Office Small Business
2007
Upgrade on the laptop that has the trial version of MS Office Home &
Student.
Does anybody know?

I have a desktop with MS Office Small Business 2002 (and the CDs) and
a

to
upgrade the software on my desktop, but can't figure out which to buy.
Can I 1) use one copy (legally) of the Office Suite for both
computers?
and
2) Use the Office 2007 Small Business Upgrade on both computers?
This would save me about $200.00 over the cost of the full version. I
have
looked everwhere and can't find the answer. I hope y'all can help.
