Well, to be accurate it appears the problem is with Windows Mail - since it worked in Outlook under Vista. :)

And I send pictures with Outlook under Vista all the time with no problems. I don't think I've ever tried sending a picture with Windows Mail so I can't vouch for that.

That is not the problem. I was able to send the same photo through Outlook
in the blink of an eye. I guess I will abandon Windows mail and switch to
Outlook. Microsoft has a problem with Vista that they need to fix.
