Hi Katharine,
Autotext has been expanded in Word into 36 separate reusable content/boilerplate 'building block' galleries. In Outlook's message
editor on the Insert Ribbon the Text Box, Tables=>Quick Tables, Symbols=>Equations and Quick Parts are available as graphic previews
of the entries.
What was discontinued was the 'autocomplete suggestion' tooltips for entries. If you type the first 3 or 4 unique characters of an
AutoText entry and use F3 it should complete the replacement entry for you.

I frequently used Auto text in all my emails and word documents. I cannot
find an Auto text toolbar in 2007. Can anyone please help?
Many thanks.
