Scholte, I had the same experience with the trial version of Office 2007.
Excel (the app I use the most), kept crashing intermittently without any
apparent reason. Since I didn't like the UI at all, my solution was to get
rid of Office 2007 and revert to Office 2003. All the crashing issues have
disappeared since then.
