Hi Sunil,
For Office 2007 the alternative input features (dictation and inking/handwriting) were returned to the domain of the MS Windows
folks. It's available in Vista, and basically better via third party products in Windows XP such as those from http://nuance.com

Is the speech recognition option present in office 2007 or not? While I was
using the Office 2003 I was having the Microphone button in the language bar.
But now I am now able to get only Hand writting and Onscreen keyboard only. I
am not able to activate the moicrophone even by (Windows+V) key even. >>
