Me too. I suspect this happened when SP3 was released but since you can't
remove that service pack, what can you do?

If you use the Word 2003 Mail Merge toolbar and merge a letter with a list
of
records over 99 records, the Record field on the Mail Merge toolbar only
displays the first two digits. It will not display the third digit.
